How to co-author knowledge

You can add knowledge to existing pages or start an own page. Remember to refer to your sources and specially in case of embedding images or video, remember to refer to the original source. We prefer you use own materials, creative commons licence and public domain images are also good options.

NOTE! When you publish own material on the Killer Fashion Revolution Wiki the content is available under Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 3.0 Unported. More information: General Disclaimer

Edit page

Text

To add text to a page go to edit mode by clicking on the edit tab and add or change the text. Remember that someone else has started the article so be polite when editing text and do not delete material if it is not totally necessary. References makes the text more believable and it is good to link to resources elsewhere in the web too. Text that is improper or assaults others is deleted.

Images

For adding images on the page see: How to upload photos

Videos

For embedding YouTube videos see: How to embed videos

External links

If you add http:// in front of an internet address it automatically becomes a link e.g. http://www.killerfashionrevolution.com

If you want to link words to an internet address like this Killer Fashion Revolution: select the word and click the External link in the edit menu, it looks like an earth. In front of the selected words add the address. It should look like this in edit mode: <nowiki>Killer Fashion Revolution</nowiki>

Internal links

You can link to any page on this wiki by using the page name e.g. Discover: Check the name of the page you want to link to, write it were you want to place the link and select it. In the edit menu you find the Ab icon, it is used to make an internal link. In the edit mode it looks like this: <nowiki>Discover</nowiki>. If you publish your designs make sure you make internal links to it from the KFR Do-It-Yourself Designs and Human Rights Declaration pages.

Make a new page

Insert a name for your page in the search box and hit the go button. If the page already exists and it is about the topic you want to write about, just edit and add your knowledge to the page. If the pages dose not exist there is a "crate this page" ling. Click it and you can start editing the page. Remember others will be able to modify and edit your page.

Start by inserting a heading. Write the heading text, select it and on top of the edit box there is a big A-letter, this makes the text a header.

Remember to save the page and start to edit it. In the beginning of this page you find some guides how to include different elements into the page.
